This is a nurturing environment where children, staff, parents and governors know each other and share a common understanding of the School’s purpose – to ‘aim high’ and through shared understanding of Gospel values, ensure that the potential of every child is fully achieved. Our children are happy, sociable, well-behaved and value our diversity, which enriches everything we do. We are recognised as ‘outstanding’ by the local authority and are confident this will be endorsed at our next Ofsted inspection.

The Nature Detectives are on the hunt...
This week Reception are continuing to explore our theme of The Living World. We went to the garden, and with our partners, we hunted for minibeasts. The children found woodlice, worms, a ladybird, ants, flies, but the children were disappointed not to find even one Incy Wincy spider. Once they were back in class the children wrote about their favourite minibeasts they found. We have also started the "Our Garden" display in class and the children have already painted, drawn and cut creatures for the display. Our Reception Nature Detectives have continued hunting for minibeasts in our outside area and have found snails and slugs, which we will keep away from our growing Sunflowers!
