This is a nurturing environment where children, staff, parents and governors know each other and share a common understanding of the School’s purpose – to ‘aim high’ and through shared understanding of Gospel values, ensure that the potential of every child is fully achieved. Our children are happy, sociable, well-behaved and value our diversity, which enriches everything we do. We are recognised as ‘outstanding’ by the local authority and are confident this will be endorsed at our next Ofsted inspection.

School Kitchen Garden

On the last day of term before Christmas, our children planted poppy seeds to brighten up the playground in Spring and help us commemorate the anniversary of World War One. These will go in new planters already built by a parent volunteer.

With Spring fast approaching and Gardening Club restarting on Friday lunchtimes, the children and I will be planning out the Kitchen Garden for 2018 (what to grow and when to plant).

Any offers of help from parents will be warmly welcomed - I will speak to those of you who helped last year and plan some dates. In addition, any donations of seeds, gardening tools, empty pots or bags of compost will be gratefully received.

Many thanks,
