This is a nurturing environment where children, staff, parents and governors know each other and share a common understanding of the School’s purpose – to ‘aim high’ and through shared understanding of Gospel values, ensure that the potential of every child is fully achieved. Our children are happy, sociable, well-behaved and value our diversity, which enriches everything we do. We are recognised as ‘outstanding’ by the local authority and are confident this will be endorsed at our next Ofsted inspection.

Our Stomp Day

Today we joined together, as a whole school, to raise money and awareness for the fantastic charity, Health Poverty Action. This charity raises funds for children in developing countries to have better access to basic needs such as shelter, nutritious food and health care. As a Rights Respecting School, we believe in the rights for every child and feel we can make a difference in both the local and global world.

During’ our Stomp Day, our children participated in activities such as Zumba and a school Fun Run’. During these activities, we learnt a little more about how to keep our own bodies fit and healthy. We also leant about some of the countries that our funds will help.

Thank you to all our staff for helping make today such a fantastic day! A special thank you to Jacintaa, from Health Poverty Action, for coming in and teaching us some Zumba moves.

1,2,3,4, Health for all, hey!
