This is a nurturing environment where children, staff, parents and governors know each other and share a common understanding of the School’s purpose – to ‘aim high’ and through shared understanding of Gospel values, ensure that the potential of every child is fully achieved. Our children are happy, sociable, well-behaved and value our diversity, which enriches everything we do. We are recognised as ‘outstanding’ by the local authority and are confident this will be endorsed at our next Ofsted inspection.

Your chance to meet a published author!

We are very excited to announce that one of our teachers has recently become a published author!

Ms Gillian Antwi feels very passionate about young children’s mental well being and self esteem. She has felt that there has been an absence of books written for young children about these topics so decided to write her own book. Her book aims to help children on their journey of self-discovery, through promoting positive self-esteem and self-awareness.

This is a fantastic book that gives children a guide towards becoming the best person you can be, using advice and thought provoking exercises.

As a Catholic school we believe this book links very well with our own values and will continue to encourage our children to become the best person they can be.

Please come along to our school hall on Monday 18th of December at 3.30pm to meet this wonderful author, speak to her, learn about what this book is about and buy your own signed copy.

I know I will be buying a few for my own nieces for Christmas.

Well done Ms Antwi, we are all so proud of you!!!
