This is a nurturing environment where children, staff, parents and governors know each other and share a common understanding of the School’s purpose – to ‘aim high’ and through shared understanding of Gospel values, ensure that the potential of every child is fully achieved. Our children are happy, sociable, well-behaved and value our diversity, which enriches everything we do. We are recognised as ‘outstanding’ by the local authority and are confident this will be endorsed at our next Ofsted inspection.

Year 4 Class Assemblies

In Year 4, we have continued working in groups to plan and lead our Class Worship on Thursdays. Last week we had a class assembly all about ‘Judaism’ led by Chidnma and Shabeena.

Their assembly was wonderfully presented and very well thought out. As part of their assembly, they produced a lovely prayer thanking God for religion.

Dear God,

Thank you for giving us this religion to believe in and we thank you for your caring love. We also thank you for protecting us now and forever.

Amen

Nakia, Lily and Samantha also gave a wonderful and thoughtful assembly reminding us why it is important to take care of our world and all the creatures in it.
