This is a nurturing environment where children, staff, parents and governors know each other and share a common understanding of the School’s purpose – to ‘aim high’ and through shared understanding of Gospel values, ensure that the potential of every child is fully achieved. Our children are happy, sociable, well-behaved and value our diversity, which enriches everything we do. We are recognised as ‘outstanding’ by the local authority and are confident this will be endorsed at our next Ofsted inspection.

St Mary Magdalen's Book Of The Month

Mrs Saunders had a wonderful summer holiday. Over the holidays she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. One of Mrs Saunders’ favourite things to do is read books. She particularly enjoys reading books written and illustrated by Oliver Jeffers.

She absolutely loves the book called The Day the Crayons Quit. Author Drew Daywalt and illustrator Oliver Jeffers team up to write this witty and playful story to capture the imagination of children of all ages.

Please feel free to read this book while you are in our school office. After you’ve enjoyed reading this special book please put it back on the book stand so other children can also enjoy its magic.

Happy Reading!
