This is a nurturing environment where children, staff, parents and governors know each other and share a common understanding of the School’s purpose – to ‘aim high’ and through shared understanding of Gospel values, ensure that the potential of every child is fully achieved. Our children are happy, sociable, well-behaved and value our diversity, which enriches everything we do. We are recognised as ‘outstanding’ by the local authority and are confident this will be endorsed at our next Ofsted inspection.

Day at the Horniman Museum

On Friday, 14th July, the Reception class packed their lunches and set off for the Horniman Museum. They were very excited and were looking forward to experiencing the Museum and gardens. This school visit was a chance for all of the children to experience things they had learnt throughout the year with the topic of  " Our World".
The children were superstars on the bus, in the Museum and gardens and on the walk ( which was quite long and uphill for little legs!). It was also an opportunity to explore the local area as the Horniman Museum is in Forest Hill.

The children loved the educational visit and had these things to say-
" I enjoyed being in the Aquarium and seeing how the jellyfish moved."

" I was happy that we saw Nemo and Dory in the Aquarium and I thought they used their fins to wave to us."

" I saw a really big lobster, it had sharp claws."

"We saw lots of skeletons."

" I enjoyed listening to the musical instruments and looking for the largest."

" The bus driver was really kind and he waited for us."

A big thank you to the staff and parents who went on this successful school visit.
