This is a nurturing environment where children, staff, parents and governors know each other and share a common understanding of the School’s purpose – to ‘aim high’ and through shared understanding of Gospel values, ensure that the potential of every child is fully achieved. Our children are happy, sociable, well-behaved and value our diversity, which enriches everything we do. We are recognised as ‘outstanding’ by the local authority and are confident this will be endorsed at our next Ofsted inspection.

Joe sings at Westminster Abbey

We are very proud of Joe (Year 4), who last night sang at Westminster Abbey, in Central London, with the Abbey's own choir.

Joe has for nearly two years been a member of the London Youth Choir, which draws the members of its five youth choirs (ages 8-18yrs) from right across Greater London.  LYC provides a choral education and wonderful performance opportunities to children living or educated within London.  The choir’s vision is to inspire young people to achieve the highest possible standard in choral singing.

Last night Joe and his fellow choristers from the LYC Boys Choir were shown round the Abbey (see photo, right, of Joe at the tomb of the unknown warrior) and had the opportunity to sing at Evensong with the Abbey choir, including boys from the Abbey's own choir school.
