This is a nurturing environment where children, staff, parents and governors know each other and share a common understanding of the School’s purpose – to ‘aim high’ and through shared understanding of Gospel values, ensure that the potential of every child is fully achieved. Our children are happy, sociable, well-behaved and value our diversity, which enriches everything we do. We are recognised as ‘outstanding’ by the local authority and are confident this will be endorsed at our next Ofsted inspection.

A Visit From Afar...

We have been so lucky to have two visitors from The Seychelles who have come to learn with us at St Mary Magdalen’s Catholic Primary School. Danellie and Derron have been learning in Year 1 and Year 3.

As a school our topic is ‘Our World’ and both Year 1 and Year 3 have benefitted from learning a little more about the culture and customs in the Seychelles. Did you know it is very hot in the Seychelles and that the country is surrounded by beautiful beaches!

Thank you Danellie and Derron for coming to our school. We hope you have enjoyed your time with us.
