This is a nurturing environment where children, staff, parents and governors know each other and share a common understanding of the School’s purpose – to ‘aim high’ and through shared understanding of Gospel values, ensure that the potential of every child is fully achieved. Our children are happy, sociable, well-behaved and value our diversity, which enriches everything we do. We are recognised as ‘outstanding’ by the local authority and are confident this will be endorsed at our next Ofsted inspection.

Christmas Carol Service - 13 December

Cynthia Lamptey, Vice-Chair of the School's Governing Board, welcomed everyone with an Advent message to prepare the way for the birth of Jesus.  Our service was to tell the Christmas story simply but with conviction.  Mme. Fabienne Borget and the choir accompanied the service . Kadeem, our Head Boy, began with a reading from Isaiah.

During the service the children’s talents shone. Anaiah from Reception sang the first verse of ‘Silent Night’ as a solo, delighting the congregation with her confidence and talent. The choir performed songs such as 'Little Drummer Boy' and 'The Twelve Days of Christmas'.

The readings by Year Six were read with a maturity and skill, showing great promise for the future.
Father Justin then blessed the congregation and the service ended with the congregation singing 'O Come all Ye Faithful'.

A parent approached a member of staff and asked her to thank all the staff for helping the children to prepare for the Carol service.

Thank you to Mrs Campbell-Hill for organising the service, to Mrs Borget for the heavenly singing from the choir, Helena for playing the organ, John for playing the piano and the congregation who gave their support.
