This is a nurturing environment where children, staff, parents and governors know each other and share a common understanding of the School’s purpose – to ‘aim high’ and through shared understanding of Gospel values, ensure that the potential of every child is fully achieved. Our children are happy, sociable, well-behaved and value our diversity, which enriches everything we do. We are recognised as ‘outstanding’ by the local authority and are confident this will be endorsed at our next Ofsted inspection.

Head and Deputy Head Girl and Boy Chosen

As the new academic year gets underway, all of our Year Six pupils have taken up positions of responsibility at the School.  Year Six are now the eldest in the school, and were encouraged to consider the skills and qualities that they possessed for these positions of responsibility.

Pursuant to our Catholic Values, all of our pupils are encouraged to care for each other, take on responsibilities, and with the strength of their faith, go forward to take on roles within the school.

An application and personal statement had to be completed and submitted by each pupil in Year Six.  Our prospective Head Girls and Boys prepared speeches for a whole school assembly, followed by visiting each class to answer any questions the pupils may have.  This enabled all of the school to ask the candidates questions in order to decide for whom to vote. So Year Six, who'd visited Parliament the previous week, were given an opportunity to experience, for themselves, democracy in action.

We are very proud to announce the following appointments:

Head Boy - Kadeem
Deputy Head Boy - Oghosa
Head Girl - Ava
Deputy Head Girl - Inara

Other positions include House Captains, Sports Captains, School Council representatives, Charity  Fundraisers and jobs supporting Key Stage 1 at lunchtimes.  All pupils in Year Six now have a role in the running of the School.

We look forward to seeing our Year Six flourish over the coming academic year.
