This is a nurturing environment where children, staff, parents and governors know each other and share a common understanding of the School’s purpose – to ‘aim high’ and through shared understanding of Gospel values, ensure that the potential of every child is fully achieved. Our children are happy, sociable, well-behaved and value our diversity, which enriches everything we do. We are recognised as ‘outstanding’ by the local authority and are confident this will be endorsed at our next Ofsted inspection.

Fairtrade Assembly

On Friday 1 July, Year 3 delivered a very interesting and informative assembly to the whole school about Fairtrade.

This is linked to our aspiration to be a 'Rights Respecting School'.

Year 3 explained that Fairtrade works hard around the world to ensure children's rights are respected and to ensure that the money made from Fairtrade products finds its way back to the right people - the people who make and grow the product.

Happy workers make better footballs - the factory at Sialkot, Pakistan

Year 3 looked closely at a town called Sialkot in Pakistan - a place well known for making footballs.

If you would like to find out more about this, click here to see the website which helped Year 3 with their research for their assembly.
