This is a nurturing environment where children, staff, parents and governors know each other and share a common understanding of the School’s purpose – to ‘aim high’ and through shared understanding of Gospel values, ensure that the potential of every child is fully achieved. Our children are happy, sociable, well-behaved and value our diversity, which enriches everything we do. We are recognised as ‘outstanding’ by the local authority and are confident this will be endorsed at our next Ofsted inspection.

Christmas Concert is an early send-off for Miss Gardener

Tuesday night saw our choir and individual instrumentalists demonstrate the progress they've been making.

Mr. West opened proceedings by announcing that music teacher Anne Gardener would be retiring at the end of term - and the concert that followed provided a fitting send-off.  Miss Gardener has often spoken of the enriching role music can play in our lives, especially for those who pursue musical studies, and there was plenty of evidence of that in the smiling faces and obvious sense of satisfaction all round as a procession of children performed on, then left, the stage.

Thank you to Miss Gardener for all you've done over the last few years and best wishes for the future.  The School will make sure it builds on all the work you have done.  Thanks also to Mrs Borget, Mrs Frammingham, Mrs Catley and Mrs Piper for their part in making this such an enjoyable event.
