This is a nurturing environment where children, staff, parents and governors know each other and share a common understanding of the School’s purpose – to ‘aim high’ and through shared understanding of Gospel values, ensure that the potential of every child is fully achieved. Our children are happy, sociable, well-behaved and value our diversity, which enriches everything we do. We are recognised as ‘outstanding’ by the local authority and are confident this will be endorsed at our next Ofsted inspection.

Comic/Sports Relief Day Friday 13th March 2015

In order to combine Comic and Sports Relief Days this Friday 13th March, children can come to school dressed as their favourite sports star. We thought this would be an exciting change from simply wearing ‘own clothes’. Obviously the £1 which we are asking children to pay in return for dressing up will be donated to the Comic/Sports Relief charities.

Today in assembly our children learnt about the lives of children in Ghana, many of whom have to work from the age of 9/10 years in dangerous conditions. The children compared their own lives with those who are much less fortunate than themselves.

Following this through, this Friday there will be a variety of sports activities arranged by Mr Pinks so that the children will have a really fun day.
