This is a nurturing environment where children, staff, parents and governors know each other and share a common understanding of the School’s purpose – to ‘aim high’ and through shared understanding of Gospel values, ensure that the potential of every child is fully achieved. Our children are happy, sociable, well-behaved and value our diversity, which enriches everything we do. We are recognised as ‘outstanding’ by the local authority and are confident this will be endorsed at our next Ofsted inspection.

Space Talks

On Thursday 22 January 2015, Dr. Sarah Maine (mother of Emily in reception class) spoke to the whole School about a presentation by the USA's National Aeronautics and Space Agency (NASA) that she chaired in her role as Director of the Campaign for Science and Engineering.
Dr.Maine's inspirational talks encouraged the children to think about why we should explore space and also to consider solutions to the difficulties of space exploration.  Of course it is the current School generation of children who may be going to Mars in about 20 years!

Look out for more about science after Professor Sanjeeve Gupta comes on 13 March to talk about 'Exploring Mars with Robots'.
