This is a nurturing environment where children, staff, parents and governors know each other and share a common understanding of the School’s purpose – to ‘aim high’ and through shared understanding of Gospel values, ensure that the potential of every child is fully achieved. Our children are happy, sociable, well-behaved and value our diversity, which enriches everything we do. We are recognised as ‘outstanding’ by the local authority and are confident this will be endorsed at our next Ofsted inspection.

Maths Achievement Recognised

Last Thursday Mrs Saunders, Mrs Marsh and Ms Bekir took Deborah and Michael to the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Westminster to celebrate their achievement in Mathematics.
Deborah and Michael achieved the highest improvement in their respective levels this academic year.  Mrs Saunders pioneered the use of PiXL in the School as a means  both to track childrens’ progress but also to improve how the subject is taught across levels 4 and 5.   Pupils are identified and then given interventions in lessons in the afternoons.
At the PiXL celebration they were awarded a gift voucher, which was presented to them by Frank Bruno, former UK heavyweight boxing champion.
It is the School's aim to drive the progress of all the children this coming year to attain the highest number of PiXL achievers 2015.
We were privileged to attend the first PiXL award ceremony and hopefully, with high achievers from our school next year, this will become an annual event.
