At lunchtime last Wednesday, 14 May, our very own Shereene Weston - national finalist in the School Cook of the Year - cooked a meal inspired by the World Cup for staff and children to enjoy together.
On the menu was chicken, baked sweet potato, red cabbage salad and quorn, well seasoned and spiced on a tortilla base.
Then, for desert, we had fresh fruit and coconut custard tart, served with crushed mango flavoured with ginger. The salad cart provided six extra choices of fresh summer food to add to the meal.
