On 19th March, Year Two visited the
Florence Nightingale Museum near ' Hospital. The children were excited to get there by tube, starting their journey at Brockley Station. St.Thomas
When we arrived, we were greeted by an actress dressed as Florence Nightingale herself. She gave a fantastic talk all about her life and her many adventures as a nurse. The children then took part in various activities focussing on health, hygiene and 19th Century nursing practices.
Thank you to Mr. Rimell for organising the trip and thanks also to all the parents who were able to help.
