This is a nurturing environment where children, staff, parents and governors know each other and share a common understanding of the School’s purpose – to ‘aim high’ and through shared understanding of Gospel values, ensure that the potential of every child is fully achieved. Our children are happy, sociable, well-behaved and value our diversity, which enriches everything we do. We are recognised as ‘outstanding’ by the local authority and are confident this will be endorsed at our next Ofsted inspection.

Year 2 visit the Florence Nightingale Museum

Florence Nightingale
On 19th March, Year Two visited the Florence Nightingale Museum near St.Thomas' Hospital.  The children were excited to get there by tube, starting their journey at Brockley Station.

When we arrived, we were greeted by an actress dressed as Florence Nightingale herself.  She gave a fantastic talk all about her life and her many adventures as a nurse.  The children then took part in various activities focussing on health, hygiene and 19th Century nursing practices.

Thank you to Mr. Rimell for organising the trip and thanks also to all the parents who were able to help.
