This is a nurturing environment where children, staff, parents and governors know each other and share a common understanding of the School’s purpose – to ‘aim high’ and through shared understanding of Gospel values, ensure that the potential of every child is fully achieved. Our children are happy, sociable, well-behaved and value our diversity, which enriches everything we do. We are recognised as ‘outstanding’ by the local authority and are confident this will be endorsed at our next Ofsted inspection.

Pupil Premium Policy - Update

From April 2014, schools can receive the Pupil Premium for children adopted from care or who have left care under a Special Guardianship Order (SGO) on or after 30 December 2005. Schools can also claim for Pupil Premium for children who left care under a Residence Order (RO) on or after 14 October 1991.

For the School to claim the Pupil Premium for adopted children, and those who are the subject of a SGO or RO, parents will need to inform the School and provide supporting evidence, for example the Adoption (Court) Order. This information will be treated in the strictest confidence.

The Pupil Premium for declared children will be £1,900 in the financial year 2014-15.
