This is a nurturing environment where children, staff, parents and governors know each other and share a common understanding of the School’s purpose – to ‘aim high’ and through shared understanding of Gospel values, ensure that the potential of every child is fully achieved. Our children are happy, sociable, well-behaved and value our diversity, which enriches everything we do. We are recognised as ‘outstanding’ by the local authority and are confident this will be endorsed at our next Ofsted inspection.
This week saw elections, in Years 3-6, to the School Council. Those elected are as follows:
Year 3 - Joshua Harris and Cleo Walton
Year 4 – Chukwuma Epundu and Siobhan Collins
Year 5 – Emma Borget–Deighton and Bjorn Lilly
Year 6 – Bruno Hurtado and Oliwia Fiedkiewicz
Congratulations to those who were elected and thanks to those other pupils who prepared and gave speeches but were not successful on this occasion. For some pupils this will have been their first experience of democracy in action! The Head Boy and Head Girl also attend
School Council meetings.
